Responsibilities:
Seeking an Automation Test Engineer with 6–9 years of experience in designing and writing automated test strategies, plans, and scripts. Expertise in Selenium and Java is required, with exposure to the Banking & Insurance domain. Familiarity with tools like TOSCA, UFT, and Katalon Studio is an advantage. The role also includes assisting in defect fixing and supporting overall test automation efforts.
- Design and develop automated test strategies and plans.
- Write and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium or Katalon Studio.
- Perform API testing using tools like Rest Assured.
- Apply Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices using Gherkin and Cucumber or SpecFlow.
- Build and maintain test automation frameworks.
- Assist in defect identification, logging, and fixing.
- Engage in test planning, estimation, and risk management activities.
- Ensure process adherence and proactive contribution to test delivery.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders as required.
- Deliver tasks independently and contribute to technical solutions.
Qualifications:
- 6 - 9 years of experience in automated testing.
- Expertise in Selenium and Java for test automation.
- Experience in Banking & Insurance domains.
- Familiarity with automation tools such as TOSCA, UFT, Katalon Studio, Appium, Cypress, Playwright, TestComplete, Protractor, Coded UI (Good to Have).
- Strong understanding of API testing using Rest Assured.
- Proficient in test automation frameworks and tools such as JUnit, TestNG, NUnit.
- Hands-on experience with build tools and frameworks such as Maven.
- Capable in scripting languages including Python, JavaScript, VBScript, C#.
- Knowledge of BDD tools like Cucumber, SpecFlow, and syntax such as Gherkin.
- Familiarity with Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong skills in effort estimation, risk management, process adherence, and technical solutioning.
- Ability to deliver tasks autonomously with proactive contribution to testing activities.
- Amenable to work Onsite, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
